​Ling Walters is a writer and formerly incarcerated woman. She writes urban fiction and lesbian romance stories. Walters began writing while incarcerated in 2024. After taking a creative writing class, she found that writing stories was an enjoyable distraction from the monotony of prison life. Her stories are inspired by her own experiences as well as the experiences of women she’s known. Proving herself to be a talented writer, Walters has published two volumes of short stories. She enjoys writing, spending time with her cat, and arts and crafts.
